Inside (Tourism) Vancouver September 2014
I previously wrote this on my facebook page and am now transferring it over to this blog. Enjoy….
Travelling the world the past few years, it is about time I visit the beautiful city of Vancouver right in our own country. Thanks to Inside Vancouver, here are a few of the exciting things we did….
Museum of Vancouver, Grouse Mountain Resort, Harbour Cruises, Vancouver Aquarium, Sewell’s Marina, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, The Vancouver Lookout, Vancouver Art Gallery and many many more….
I got to try delicious foods from the city and have excellent service combined with mouth-watering dishes at Chambar Restaurant and The Fish House in Stanley Park. Staying right downtown in luxury and comfort at The Sutton Place Hotels it made our trip so much more enjoyable…
I got to meet Ryan Steele and Rob Goddard from my favorite tv show The Amazing Race Canada. This show inspires me to travel and I get ideas about where to go next. Sponsored by Air Canada.
The city was clean, beautiful and for the most part really wheelchair accessible. Using my manual wheelchair helped as if there were steps anywhere, my friend Greg helped me. Getting an accessible taxi did not take long and except for 1 incident was a positive one. Overall, I really enjoyed the city, seeing friends and definitely recommend everyone to visit this city. Special thanks to everyone that made this trip a big success.
