After a 5 night stay at Hanoi Le Chateau Hotel & Spa last month, my friend and I flew to Siem Reap, Cambodia for a 5 night stay. We wanted to stay somewhere downtown and not too far from Angkor Wat. We end up booking with Cheathata CTS Hotel Siem Reap.
Hotel
Cheathata CTS Hotel Siem Reap opened in 2010 and has 38 rooms on 5 floors. We arrived in the evening and I noticed the steps and the steep ramp to get into the hotel. There is a security guard at this hotel 24/7 and that person always help us on the ramp leaving and coming back.

such a steep ramp to our hotel, staff is always there to help
The lobby area was really nice and big with lots of windows making the room really bright. There were no automatic doors or a wheelchair button for the door but most times somebody held the door open for us.

Room
The room was quite big with 2 nice size Queen beds. There was enough space around the beds for transfers. There was a sofa bed that we used to store our luggage and bags. A little table and a desk and chair were also there.

nice spacious room
There is a balcony that is somewhat wheelchair accessible. Once the double doors were open, I couldn’t get around the double doors as they couldn’t close with my wheelchair being there.

balcony is somewhat accessible
The bathroom had a roll in shower that didn’t have a door wide enough so the commode could roll in. I had to shower over the toilet with the hand held shower head reaching out to the toilet. It still worked so I was able to shower.

bathroom set up
The bathroom was a bit tight since there was a bath tub on the side. The roll under sink was easy to get to.

Amenities
There is no free breakfast at this hotel but they do have a restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are meeting rooms and a spa for extra charge. The free Wifi worked fine throughout the property.

rooftop area has many stairs to get up there so my friend went up to take pics
Pool
There is also a nice rooftop area that includes a pool. The unfortunate part is that there are many steps to get up there. My friend did go up to take pictures for me. Looks like there is a bar with beach chairs, tables and chairs along with a small pool.

Location
The hotel has an address of Angkor Night Market Street, Steung Thmei, Krong Siem Reap 17252. It is just a 1 minute walk to the original Night Market and 5 minutes walk to the very busy famous Pub Street. It also is not far from many attractions in the city.

original Night Market is just next door
Final Thought
Cheathata CTS Hotel Siem Reap wasn’t the most accessible hotel as the roll in shower couldn’t get my commode all the way in. The rooftop and pool was not accessible either. The location was great and I would stay again if it was only for a short visit.
