My 4th Visit to Disney California Adventure Park
This post is finally about my 4th park day visit from my 4 day visit to Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebrations. My friend and I visited Disney California Adventure Park (DCA) again for our second day in a row and my 4th ever time visiting. This park is not as big as the original Disneyland Park, so we did almost everything on the previous day.
Getting There
It was another sunny and hot day for us and we went the faster and better way to the entrance of the parks. We entered DCA just after 11:30 AM and wanted a more relaxing day for our final park day. We only had 2 major lands to explore: Avengers Campus and Cars Land, so we got to look around Buena Vista Street a bit more.
Carthay Circle
(Buena Vista Street)
Buena Vista Street is the first area/land we are in when entering the park. At the end of the street is Carthay Circle which has a Central Hub that connects to some of the lands in the park. I wanted to take a picture with the iconic “Storytellers” statue which is Walt Disney himself with Mickey Mouse.

We continued down to Hollywood Land to take pictures at the Hyperion Theater and the giant Hollywood buildings mural located at the back. I really like this mural as it makes us look like we are in a cartoon. We then took some pictures in a Phineas and Ferb building set before heading to Avengers Campus.

Character Encounters
(Avengers Campus)
As soon as we entered Avengers Campus, we saw there were many character encounters for photo ops. Iron Man was first and the lines went pretty quick for him. We also got pics with Falcon, Antman and the Wasp, Dr Strange, and more. They performed a quick show with all the Avengers showing off their fighting abilities which was kind of cool.

Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure
(Avengers Campus)
Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure ride is an interactive screen ride that opened in the summer of 2021 and replaced “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” theater. Once entering the queue area, Peter Parker shows up on screen and explains what to do and expect for the ride. We are told to shoot web fluid from our wrists to stop the Spider-bots and to ride on a WEB Slinger vehicle.

There is one WEB Slinger vehicle that is wheelchair accessible where my wheelchair is strapped inside and locked into place. We are to put on our 3D glasses before the ride started. I was able to fling out my wrists to simulate web slinging to destroy the enemies. Since the ride wasn’t too busy, we got to ride this 3 times in a row.

The Disney Animation Building
(Hollywood Land)
We then went to the Avengers store and took a few more character pics before heading to Hollywood Land to visit the Disney Animation Building. This attraction opened when DCA opened back on 2001. As we enter the building, we are in the Animation Courtyard where we see large projections of animated Disney movies.

There are other areas that include: Sorcerer’s Workshop, Animation Academy, Character Close-Up, and Turtle Talk with Crush. We really enjoyed looking at some of the paintings and the artwork. We even got to see an artist sketching some new artwork.

Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe
(Buena Vista Street)

lots to choose from
I really wanted to get a snack item from somewhere went nearby to Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe. There were lots of cool looking baked goods like cookies, cupcakes, tarts and more. There were also some fancy looking candy apples that were up to $15 each. I decided to get a special 70th anniversary cupcake that costs $6.49. It was really good but am not sure if it’s worth that high price.

I got this cupcake for $6.49 plus tax
Character Encounter
(Cars Land)
My friend went to ride Grizzly River Run while I rested and charged my phone. We then headed to Cars Land to spend some time and explore the area more. We took pictures in front of the giant Welcome billboard and a few of the shops in Cars Land. We even got a chance to take a picture with Lightning McQueen.

Radiator Springs Racers
(Cars Land)
My friend then did a test run on Radiator Springs Racers to see if I would be able to do this ride. Opened in 2012, this 6 person car ride vehicle takes riders through encounters with characters from Cars. We then race other vehicles through hills and turns to compete who is fastest. My friend suggested that this ride should be easy for me.

had to be lifted and transferred to the ride vehicle
I needed to be lifted and transferred into the ride vehicle. We took the front 2 of 3 seats while 3 other people took the back. This was my first time ever going on this ride and it wasn’t as fast and thrilling as I thought it would be. It was neat going through the scenery and seeing all the visuals. I would definitely go again.

was a fun ride
San Fransokyo Square
We headed back to San Fransokyp Square to see if there was somewhere we wanted to eat at. There wasn’t really anywhere that stood out so we just looked around the shops and the area a bit more before heading out.

Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta
(Paradise Gardens Park)
We saw Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta and thought it was somewhere we wanted to get food from. This counter service restaurant opened in 2011 serves Italian favorites like flatbread pizzas, pasta dishes, and salads which are prepared in on-stage kitchens.

deciding what to get
Prices weren’t too bad, and I got a plate of spaghetti and meatballs for only $11.49. My friend got a slice of pizza and a plate of 4 cheese rigatoni. We sat outside since it was so hot and enjoyed our meal in the sun. We were both surprised how good the food was.

our dinner was amazing
Mickey’s PhilharMagic
(Hollywood Land)
After our dinner, we headed to Sunset Showcase Theater to watch Mickey’s PhilharMagic show. It opened in 2019 and is a 12 minute 3D show where Donald Duck is being swept into different musical numbers from classic Disney animated movies. There is special effects like wind and water during the movie.

There are several spots in the rows of seats where a wheelchair guest can park to watch the show. We chose a spot in the middle and it was a great view of the show. The show was definitely aimed for kids but was still enjoyable and worth watching.

The “Sh-Boom” Moment
(Cars Land)
We wanted to check out the “Sh-Boom” moment again so as we headed to Cars Land, we passed through Avengers Campus to take more photo ops with some of the Avengers. My friend went to ride Radiator Springs Racers as I waited behind to watch all the neon lights in Cars Land to slowly turn on. It was great watching this moment again with everyone in awe.

was cool watching all the neon lights slowly turn on
World of Color Happiness!
(Paradise Gardens Park)
We pretty much did everything already so we decided to see World of Color Happiness! again. Since we were watching it for the second night in a row, we thought we would focus more on just watching the show and not take anymore pictures and videos.

Downtown Disney
By the time the show was over, it was almost 9:30 PM so we decided to go shopping at Downtown Disney. We both did some souvenir shopping and spent some time at the Lego store before heading back to our hotel.

Final Thoughts
My friend and I really enjoyed our last day of our 4 day park visit. We were at the park almost 10 hours and did not do as many rides as our previous days. I only went on 2 different rides this day as we mostly watched shows and went a slower pace for our last day. Overall, it was a fun filled 4 day trip and I would like to return in 5 years for the 75th anniversary with another 4 day park visit.

will try to return in 5 years for the 75th anniversary
