The Coca-Cola Store in Vegas
The Coca-Cola Store is located on the south end of the Las Vegas strip right by MGM Grand Hotel and the M&M candy store. I have casually went in and out of this store a few times over the years but on my most recent trip, I actually got to look around a bit and visited the beverage bar where I got to sample 16 different international Coke products from around the world. I am not a huge soda drinker but I thought it would be a great activity to do since I never got a chance to explore the store.
The store itself is 2 floors and is wheelchair accessible. There is automatic sliding doors from the strip entrance and in the front 2 giant coke bottle statues. There is also another entrance inside from the shopping center attached. A giant clear glass coke bottle-shaped elevator is also right beside the strip entrance. I thought it was a bit weird that the elevator does not take you to the 2nd floor of the Coca-Cola Store but instead takes you to a 3rd floor restaurant. Glad there is a small elevator located in the store that will take you to the 2nd floor.
On both floors, you can shop a huge wide variety of exclusive Coca-Cola merchandise including vintage items, clothing, accessories and much more. They have unique mugs, glasses, polar bear stuffed toys, key-chains, banks and other unique things that can only found here. I was really shocked to see so many varieties of Coca-Cola items. Prices aren’t too bad so if you are a huge fan of this company, you can have your shopping spree just at this one store and find almost anything.
On the main floor, there is also the Coca-Cola Polar Bear Photo Op. Both times when I went here the lines were not long at all. It was great posing with this mascot as we get high-fives and hugs from him. The photographers even let us use our own cameras in addition to the professionals there. The best part was that there was no pressure into buying the expensive prints. Was a great free experience.
My favorite part of visiting this store was to hang out at the Coca-Cola Beverage Bar on the second floor. Not only, can you just sit here, relax and get to sip on your favorite soda, you can also try 8 different floats (soda with a bit of vanilla ice cream), you also get to sample 16 different international beverages with the Tastes Of The World Tray. The Fanta Apple Kiwi from Thailand and Barq’s root beer float were my favorites and really refreshing, while The Beverly from Italy was “interesting”. Some were good and some were not, but sampling 24 drinks was a lot for the 2 of us. It was also reasonable priced at about $18 USD for all 24 drinks.
I was really happy and enjoyed exploring the Coca-Cola Store in Las Vegas and had a great hour checking out all the cool unique items, taking a pic with the Coca-Cola polar bear and sampling all the drinks. I would definitely do this again and hope to get to Atlanta’s World Of Coca-Cola to check out this giant museum dedicated to this drink and even get to sample more drinks from around the world.
