Next Month’s Dusk Music Festival in Tucson
In about 2 weeks, I will be heading to Tucson, Arizona for Dusk Music Festival. It is a 2 day event on November 9 and 10 that features different types of music, including rock, hip hop and electronic dance music. Dusk Music Festival also showcases art, sculptures, a cactus garden and local foods of Tucson. This festival has been around since 2016 and just like last year it will be held at Armory Park. I had an amazing and great time last month in Atlanta for Imagine Music Festival and am ready and really looking forward to try another festival in a city I have never visited before. Also to review and share information about the accessibility of the event and the venue.
Location
Dusk Music Festival will again be held at Armory Park, after moving from Rillito Park where it was held for the first 2 years. Armory Park is conveniently located right in the heart of downtown. This will make it so much easier for us to get to as our hotel is under a 30 minute walk or stroll from the park. Looks like this park does have some hilly areas and paved pathways. I will be bringing my manual wheelchair to Tucson and am glad having my buddy with me to push me around.
Event Details
Dusk Music Festival will be open at 2pm both days and will end at midnight Saturday night and at at 11pm on the Sunday. Tickets can be bought online here and start at $109 USD plus taxes and fees for general admission and can be bought as single days or weekend passes. There will be over 20 + artists over the weekend on 3 stages. This year’s headliners include Kaskade, Rezz, and Two Door Cinema Club. Hopefully, all the stages will be easy to get to and that the main stages will have proper ADA accessible viewing platforms.
Why Visit Here?
With the beautiful desert and sunny skies of Tucson as the backdrop and host of Dusk Music Festival, the great mix of different music genres all wrapped up in one fun weekend, why wouldn’t you go? There is also great art, sculptures and food showcased here. Being held at Armory Park downtown, it is also very easy to get to and according to their official website, it should be ADA accessible and welcoming of everyone… including kids too, since this is an all ages event. Buy tickets soon, as prices will increase and join along for this awesome event.
Don’t forget to follow my facebook page for updates and see how great and unique this festival will be and all the ADA features here. Look for my full review and blog post in November to see how everything went.
